re: now..... i cannae remember the names of the 1 or 2 wee folks who have been mentioning sigur "gorgeous" ros's vocals - ie: the language of... But i do believe that he's playing silly buggers and making , er, "noises" of no specific language at all. kinda like that nice liz from the cocteaus then. so that clears that up. maybe. i don't know the band or anything so its not official, but i did see them live at the 1st Bowlie if that counts for anything! (yep. guessed not then.). shivery music though, doncha maybe think? in my shop a man came in on monday and bought our measly 2 copies of "sinister" and one of "fishyflaps" also, but he didn't get my A!C!E! (what?) sinisterine-style vibe so i let him go free without interrorgation.["brenda Milton-Bradley: putting the 'terror' back into 'interrorgation' since '73. or thereabouts"]. uh. i suspect he was dutch, though could be wrong. was once. HEY! does anyone else go mad for the white stripes? cuz they are rocking my world these last few months. IF you wanna try, i would recommend the newest one "white blood cells" cuz its got the most going on. but the real gem to track down is the tour 7" (pacific rim tour ie: japan, oz, nz) with the "pretty good looking" remix. and if you're going to the gig at london dingwalls i'll be the noisy girl at the front. i hope you will forgive me for my.... indulgence. its been a while, y'see. love to all, then Brenda ps. to the girl in the front row at RAH into whose ear i loudly sang throughout the show: SORRY! couldn't help myself! (but it was sweet of you to say i should get a rekkid deal.) xx ------------------------------------------------------------ . +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org.
