Sinister: If you're feeling like a minister
hello baa baa mmmmmmm... gigs are a good thing aren't they? Amos, formerly of this parish, or mr lemonmelon to most of us emailed me something of interest to those of you living in London.
see that band tompaulin yeah?
i had something to do with them. i think i told you that some time ago. = debut single out now!! (theres a better one on the way in january, oh = yeah, i know....the debut is awkwardly poppy)
but i thought i'd just let you know about this little soiree:
the smith garrett band & tom paulin ***LIVE!***
monday 29th november 1999 around 8-ish pm-ish
the tattybogle club kingly court a secret street just off brewer street, soho. right in the boom boom = heart of the capital. (you wont find kingly court in the a-z, but you will find kingly street, = which is v v v close)
to find out more about Tom Paulin, no not that nice irish man round our way who gives lectures on the 'accoustics of poetry' but the 'awkwardly poppy' one you can all surf to: http://www.action-records.co.uk/cgi-bin/tame/Action/action_f.tam apparently. Strange things have happened to me. Firstly I arrived back at college to find that the entire student body was bellensebcrazy so I don't have that authentic lost and lonely alternateen thing going on anymore. My feeawnsay has just turned into Stanley Kowalski. And, a fellow sinisterine, currently of this parish and bleating away like a good un, is singing opera round here on Monday nite and I am going to watch - my very first opera. 'Cept for die fliedermaus (or summat like that) on the tv years and years ago. I'm taking my brother to see Napalm Death - he's a big fan. I'm a very loving and dutiful sister. Pre-gig meet-ups seem to be popular round here, so anyone fancy it? Sunday 28th November, Oxford Zodiac? anyone at all? even those of you in Toronto? really? Oooh I say, hurry home to your hefner seven inches, then. being a very pathetic and malleable person the influence of my school work has convinced me that I am living in the 16th Century. I am reading Malory, Donne and the Chester Mystery Cycles this week. I've forgotten how to use the telephone. I keep myself on the lookout for witches and strange coloured knights. Most of all, thanks to Donne, I keep fancying vicars. oooh, I'm such a leighster! love pamela ^go on, it's fun! +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
