Of course, its amusing that Belle and Sebastian are nominated as best " new " act. And of course they have no chance of winning the award, as no one even half decent seems to win anything at these things. It would however be cool to see them appear on the show itself. Two of the greatest pop tv moments have came from such unlikely appearances. One recalls a quite obvsiouly coked up Brett Anderson, wearing his mums blouse, leading Suede through a psychotic thrash version of Animal Nitrate, to the aghast looks of the tuxedo'd audience. The rather scary version of Satisfaction performed by Bjork and PJ Harvey was also a wonderful moment.
