hello all... franny and zooey, i read part of it-- i read franny and just a bit of the beginning of zooey. i do this with a lot of books. but i thought that franny was absolutely amazing. i bought my dad "raise high the roof beam" as a present once but i've yet to steal it from him. in school last year, however, we read "nine stories"-- i forget if this has been discussed on the list or not yet-- but if you like salinger or books at all it's definetely one you should pick up. on a second note-- sleater-kinney show at the troc last night! very very good.
