What, then, could compel me to make a post to Sinister after all this time? A baseball statistic. There is no way that Mike Piazza has hit 1690 career home runs. The record for home runs in a career is 755, held by Hank Aaron. If Piazza had hit 1690 home runs, he would have needed to average 141 home runs a season thus far. He has averaged 30. He has hit 358.
