And the topic was incidents with buses wasn't it? I'm afraid that my incident didn't actually happen on a bus though. Hope that's okay. Anyways, there I was sitting in work last week, gazing blankly at my computer screen when I suddenly remembered getting hit by a car. The previous saturday I had been stumbling drunkenly towards my house with my anorak hood up when somebody shouted to watch out for a car. Noticing that I was right in the middle of the road, I aimed pathwards, but that canny ol' car had been swerving to avoid me. The car hit me and I rolled off the bonnet and tried to walk on as if nothing had happened. The driver asked if I was okay and I said 'yes, thankyou' while my friends all laughed. For some reason I had forgotten all of this until reading the first 'incident with a bus' story, when it all came flooding back. Pathetic yet amusing, I felt. So anyways, Belle and Sebastian were marvellous in Brussels and a local magazine called Bulletin wrote of how "their trainspotter fans hide in well-worn anoraks and massive sideburns". They meant me! Fame at last. *And* three list crush votes. A 200% improvement on last time. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Almost as warm and fuzzy as when I thought Rollercoaster Ride had a line about me in it that went: "you're happy cos your cosy anorak goes 'round your head." But it does not. Turt wrote:
