Sinister: youth movements and stuff...
Nice points Genevieve. I don't know if there is a youth movement surrounded about the Belle & Sebastian fanbase or any other quaint whimsical pop bands for that matter but it could possibly be assumed that all B&S fans are very compassionate for the earthly concerns that you mentioned. More interest for basic needs like food, air, water, shelter, clothing (fashion), and love (my only reason for living) instead of designer clothes, Nike, and ear piercings. I for one think daily about the dinosaurs and how they walked this planet before us and were erased as a species and that we will probably meet that same fate in the future if we are not careful and trendy posessions aren't timeless enough to be part of the scheme of things. If this be hippy talk, so be it. I'll gift the peaceful flower instead of casting a stone anyday.
