Sinister: Time Out
Evening y'all For those who are interested, Time Out have published a review of the new B+S single - and they like it! Aah, sweet Time Out, how I love thee. Ahem. Anyway here it is: Belle and Sebastian "I'm Waking Up to Us" Echoes of class French '60s pop in the orchestral arrangement of the lead track herald B&S's finest single for three years. All three songs are absolute winners, but today this writer plumps for the baroque autumnal positivism of 'I Love My Car' - if only for the line, ' I can even find it in my head to love Mike Love.' A shining Richard Madeley in a smelly pile of John Leslies. Thankyou and Goodnight!
