Re: Sinister: ARAB STRAP in "we sound like B&S scandal"

Arab Strap are absolute shite!!!
Their set consisted of one fat Scottish bloke sitting on a stool and SAYING crap lyrics and then a pointless, non melodic crappy chorus of plain old guitars
Sorry if this offends but it has come to the attention of my friend and I that "Century of Elvis" does undoubtedly sound like Arab Strap or Vica Versa (whatever) - 2 Scottish bands in singer-vocalike shock!

Andreas, i love you, but you knew that already :-) The Claim were fucking genius, as the boy Hopkins will also testify, and 'Mike The Bike', with one Vic templar on the speech front, was, to coin the hopkins phrase book, a copper-bottomed classic. 'Birth Of A Teenager' was no slouch either. If anyone wants to hear The Claim mail me and i'll make a tape... keep the faith, the duke -- Tangents On-Line http://www.virtual-pc.com/tangent/ PO Box 102, Exeter, EX2 4YL, UK tangent@lineone.net ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
