they wouldn't say a thing. they'd have to have even known these bands existed, for a start. which wouldn't happen. the Belle and Sebastian CD was released in Australia on a major label, fact fans. Australia isn't generally a place that's interested in anything except "rock". with very few exceptions. james.
All I can say is,
If that hack thinks Belle & Sebastian sound like they play croquet and call their mothers "Mummy", what would he say about The King of Luxembourg, Louis Philippe, The Would-Be-Goods or just about anyone else on (the wonderful) el Records?
