hello again.... its snowing now, thats such a wonderful thing, white streets, white branches, and no brown leaves showing, especially at night cos then it hasnt been spoiled by cars yet. so, anybody else from the states here? kirsten said she was, i have to reply. panties seems more like doll dress up clothes language than for people but my friend at college thinks that po talks about panties when you squeeze her and she repeats her song. there was some controversy about po not too long ago, people thought she might be saying offensive things, now really... 'we rule the school' is such a pretty song but now, well, i had to laugh at lesleyjo's new version and i wonder how long ill remeber that for. 'do something pretty while you can, dont fall asleep' i have it painted on the wall by my bed, a reminder i guess. more later, yr happy new sinister friend, sarah ______________________________________________________ +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net". Underwear, knitting and Eurovision - the one and only Belle & Sebastian list. I like the term panties, and pants, but only in a humorous context. You would never actually say to someone, 'Nice panties - can I pull them off with my teeth'. I prefer the real classy words, like skants and kegs. And aren't bodies just the best thing ever? Pop - pop - pop and you're in. I've never been a particular fan of any band before, yet whenever I have an empty moment in my head I notice there is a B&S song playing (mostly from IYFS). This worries me. I started reading Girlfriend In Oklahoma, just after but not because of the thread here started, and was really enjoying it. However, on the train this morning they talked about a show with aliens and conspiracies and an FBI guy and an FBI bird, which struck me as being really clumsy and sort of computer-nerd jokey (you know what I mean). I hope this is not a bad omen for the rest of the book. Should I make any attempt to link the above paragraphs? Nah. In my head: Get me away from here, I'm dying. Michael PS I'm fuzzy on the whole good/bad thing. What do you mean "bad"? +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
