There is a review of one of the Manchester shows in, of all places, today's Daily Mail. Adrian Thrills (ex-NME news ed, I think) is fulsome in his praise for the band and the event. The only phrase I can really remember was "more like a small orchestra than a band". By the way, I wouldn't normally be reading such a right-wing rag, but I found it in the pub on my lunch hour.

Sorry to bring politics onto the list but this really angered me. Every time I read the NME and it say's such mindless comments as "Cast are shit.....but at least they're shit under a Labour government" I mumble under my breath "socialist rag" I only read the NME to find out about music and the latest news and stuff. This reminds me of school when all the dumb kids moronically shout "we'd vote Labour" you posh cunts. Not posh - just not dumb. I respect your right to your own opinion and stuff and of course no hard feelings - as we are all civilized people I hope.
