Re: Sinister: How I learnt to love Julio Iglesias in Transylvania
"Independent as fuck" r hip hop trion Company Flows slogan men den borde anvndas av Belle and Sebastian, Glasgows skyggaste sjumannaorkester. De stller aldrig upp p bild och bannlyser A&R mn frn sina konserter. "If you're feeling sinister" fylls av bls, strker, vnliga melodier och underfundiga texter. Ljudet av det Skottland ekar fortfarande. Independent as FUCK say the hip hop loving flow experts about bored people "Belle and Sebastian". Glasgow skyscrapers - watch out. An A+R man said to me at their concert. "If you're feeling sinister" feels your balls! Vaguely, their melodies have the texture of underwear. Luddites from Scotland are fantastic. Well Tag, you asked me if I understood it... Cheers, Keith. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . This message was brought to you by the Sinister mailing list. . Ummmm, is this nothing at all to do with quality rap artistes Company Flo? Has this been mentioned already? Have I picked up the wrong end of the hip-hop stick? Regardless, they're ace. Wish they'd do a B&S collaboration, kinda like Puff Daddy's 'All about the Benjamins'. Just to add tuppence to the whole fountain of literary recommendations, has anybody tried 'In Awe', by Scott Heim. S'gothic but gorgeous in a kinda 'Jeez-I've-felt-like-that-about-boys' confused sexuality sountracked by My Bloody Valentine and new wave direction. Phew! They should put that on the back cover. Re: Hal Hartley. If memory serves, didn't Stuart M drop off a tape at his offices when they visited New York? That was in 'Little Ink Movies' I think. Yours, having tried, and failed, not to hear the Brits results until tonite, Joseph xxx ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
