Hell's teeth it appears that the Duke's been at the pub TWICE last night! That's not bad Alastair, you must've been more pissed than I was after the Shepherd's bush empire gig. I'm going to go to the pub tonight for some drinks I think. More precisely, it's the Greentree on the Cowgate at 8:30 in Edinburgh if anyone fancies it. James Errington wrote : (A). I'm VERY dissapointed at how conservative all these musical taste lists seem to be. No, really. The Smiths, Tindersticks, Radiohead and the Jesus & Mary Chain seem to be in all of the things. I guess the entire list owes "Weejay" an apology for their conservative tastes. Next time we'll all have to match up to his more exacting standards, remember kids next time you post a large list of bands, regardless of whether you like them or not, make sure they're not what Weejay would be expecting. Right the Sinister Soul Weekender, what do people reckon to a weekender bash then? Would anyone come along? If we all went to Butlins and had some crazy times next summer for example? I think we need to concentrate on the one party thing that we appear to be having in Manchester around about New Year for the moment, but a big weekend would be a great laugh, who knows what might go on, it'd be well exciting and give everyone a great chance to meet each other. The mood on the list is always a lot better just after there have been gigs, cause people who've had differences on the list wind up meeting each other and discover that they're really nice people after all.
