Dear sweet and sugary people, Hellomi hope you are all wel..oh I'm just slightly sad,over one thing...a boy who went to school with me in elementary moved to England,and little did I know I would develop into adoring and unable to resist all things English (especially englishmen)and he came back,oh! While others would be like 'You have accnet!' I would be.. 'Oh......all the bands you have! I love you! I love your bands'he is leaving tomorrow..*sniff sniff* never gto to see him! Oh,I didn't know there WERE Belle and Sebastian tshirts,sweet! Where can I find? I'm confused over pictures to do....for Media class I have tot ake pictures from the following categorys..Portraits (butt he subject can't be looking at the camera..it is preferred of their back..hands..feet.....) Landscapes and Reflections.Need some arty shots,if only some of you on this list were nearby!I'm running into porblems,most o f the guys I know are silly,so I took a picture of my friends hands against a tree and it was a bad moment...ok i very 'schoolgirl' but for some reason..these guys got the idea I come home and become dark kinky mistress of the night or soemthing..so my friends hands had handcuffs around her (the metal strikes good in black and white pictures..it gives it a 'gritty' feeling)...*sigh* Need some good photos! mmm,kahula stuff is tasty for my mouth....another sad note,my kitten was given away today,but she will be n a better place...

1) what do you people like about certain record shops ?

Beautiful boys that like Belle and Sebastian,and indie...lovely bands..second hand but in shape,smallish not overwhelming,posters on the walla..fnazines around,interesting music..nice chatting boys that talk with you abuot the band

2) what is important (size of shop, people who work there, location, in store music, decor , listen booths ... ) ? Size of shop is nice..spacious..but not scary....not squeezed...oh yes,lovely boys with beauitufl eyes who touch your arm softly when talking about Belle and Sebsatian's 3,,,6,,,9 Seconds of Light..who order things in for you without asking...decor! NIce big posters of under-known bands or nice movie poses. posters..listen booths! Yes! Good! With you to make selection of what you want to listen to and not having to wait...no bitchy girls who are arty and think they are miss thang trying to steal her man,or 'above you' people who work at record shops hwo think only whatTHEY listen ot good..music,well I was impressed when i was at one store and I sorta wrinkled my nose at some heavy industrial thrash they were playing (not that it's bad..but it scaree me) and suddenly switch to God! Show Me Magic! Free fanzines and college newspapers around..list of upcoming cds..

3) where do you shop (hmv virgin tower indie shops) ?

SPinables *sigh* oh be still my heart.....Record Runner (more to talk and get free fanzines) and HMV...a LONG TIME AGO..only if they sell thing much cheaper..I don't like it in their..it smell funny and they can never order in my singles for me....

4) is it only price led ? No..if I say see something rare Heavens,I buy it, (ask my friend spent 45.00 on Mansun then it came out dosemtically for 12.99!) But I am cautious as to spenindg a lott on something i may not like...I don't have enough to share the wealth...except I have a weakness for suede singles!

5) do you buy records tapes or cd's?

Yes..I used to only buy tapes,with ocassional vinyl..but now it's cds..they are just the besty overall...oh,vinyl is quite lovely though,the look..the feel...

6) singles and/or albums ?

Suede singles! DEfinitley..I buy a lot of singles with a fantastic band thatis new...so I don't have a whole crap load to catch up to...or because they are os good the b-sides sustain me...Albums,ouiiiiii i mean,where would we be withot albums?
