live once.
I wouldn't worry about it. I once *did* write to Betty Boo. I sent her a page ripped out of Smash Hits asking her to autograph it, but never got a reply. Bitch.
I was seriously thinking about writing to her, I was really quite keen. Then in an interview in the NME or something they asked her about being fancied by people and she said, "Well, they're not going to get me, are they?" and I thought oh no! I've turned into a pervert! I was unemployed at the time. Anyway, I still think it's a great idea to write to Belle and Sebastian. Don't forget you can do it by e-mail. What could be simpler? You can also write to Quentin Crisp and William Hague MP, both of whom I have been in contact with. But they haven't been in contact with me.
