belle and sebastian (remember them?): the tube thing was odd, 3 hours and then 2 hours and then one hour, highlights of highlights. and two showings of different takes of the same song (including one where he forgets the words) rather than playing both the songs they recorded. most odd. and was that stuart david playing bass? i'm not sure. he was well hidden and it didn't look like him somehow (i paused the video and all). was it groucho instead? does this add more fuel to the 'stu d to leave b&s' rumours? and isobel. there's something odd about it all, it's like she's trying just a bit too hard to be how she is. maybe she was just a bit selfconscious cos of the cameras and all but the whistling (and that hair) looked a bit laboured. maybe if someone'd thrown sweets... andy i was kinda hoping that =?iso-8859-1?q?Michael=20Jones?'s mail was going to be an expose' of everything that happened at the turn of the millennium at chez mike down in greenwich. here's a list, see if you can map them to prominant sinister personalities: a) dancing to headsplittingly loud gabba at 3 in the morning b) singing smiths songs by the river at midnight in an attempt to drown out a dozen other people all signing a robbie williams song ('angel' and not 'millennium' strangely enough). this was followed by a very public piss c) shouting insults out the window to the crowds of people who'd previously been subjected to simply red in a tent somewhere down the road d) copious vomitting e) sitting (and eventually sleeping) on the kitchen floor like buddha f) 'ugh, it's on me!' and, most outrageously considering the circumstances: g) going to bed at 1:30 um, chewable vitamin c tablets. 500mg. one tablet contains 833% of the recommended daily allowance and the bottle still goes on to say take 1 or 2 tablets up to 3 times daily. what's 6 x 833%? haliborange overdose anyone? they dug up the blue peter time capsule the other day, buried in 1971. you'd've thought they'd've made the box waterproof knowing it was going to be there for that long. i've seen bodies that looked better after 29 years underground. ===== andrew dean (koogydelbbog@yahoo.com) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
