Hello Funsters, I was thinking to myself that a nice listen of "I Know Where the Summer Goes," would be apt, and as I was doing so, I took note of the cover art once more. What should I notice on the EP but a hammer and sickle-looking flag lying below the fellow who did Postcard. Anyone know the story surrounding that? I must say I'm curious. Am I correct in remembering them saying B&S are socialists? I don't really mind them brandishing a communist flag, at least the communists got the socialist bit right... Anyway, it must be Murphy's Law that the world would end on Sunday. I was looking forward to seeing a nice show, too. My houseguests will be pissed, I can tell you that. Who does that Amadeus fellow think he is, anyway? You know there was a religion based here in the US once upon a time. Seems they thought that the world would end on...eh, well I forget the date, but it was sometime in the 19th century. Well, the day came and all of the members of this religion (I'll be nice and not call it a cult) came out to worship for their last day on Earth...then the day passed and nothing happened. As you might imagine, they don't have quite as many adherents these days. I also recall something about an interesting Utopian society. They decided that none of them would have children, ever. They added to their ranks by converts, rather than having children. Funnily enough, they too aren't around anymore.
