You obviously haven't listened to much solo Scott Walker, then. All of his classic early lp's (1 - 4) contain at least 2 or 3 Jaques Brel songs. And they are all quite wonderful, especially, as Adam says, 'Scott 4'. Nigel xx ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . nigel, isn't this getting just a bit TOO exciting??? let me explain something to anyone who has been paying any attention to the walker brothers / scott walker debate : 1) i realize that it is not the reigning opinion that the walker brothers are of superior quality to to scott walker's solo material. 2) i like pop schmaltz 3) funny how someone here who knows nothing about me can assume things about what i have and have not listened to much of. 4) preference is a beautiful thing, don't you think, nigel? lovingly > dina ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
