I'm feeling very bitchy, so my suggestion is that you find and buy the Modern Rock Song ep, go back to the first store carrying the ep in the bag from the store in which you found it. Locate the annoying, overbearing little assistant and have the manager called over. Ask the assistant again about the existance of any B&S material released since TBWTAS. When he says there is nothing, pull out Modern Rock Song and ask him what the hell he thinks it is -- a mirage? Then ask the manager why he would possibly keep such an ill- informed assistant on the payroll. Point out that perhaps the store where you DID find the ep is a better place to shop as it is better stocked, better informed, and better staffed. Stalk out with your head high and go home and enjoy the ep. Ok, maybe not. But nice to think about doing in any event. Dear List WEll, this seems to be the trend. So I offer you my greetings. How do you do? This is my first post to the list, and i first want to say that I think it is wonderful and incredible that people can put so much in to their posts and use such great wit. That was the first thing that struck me. Wit. I just got on the B&S bandwagon very recently, and I'm still learning more and more about them. So here's a little something about me. I'll make this quick..... I'm Ryan, I live in the states, live in Maryland, go to school in Wisconsin. 20 years old. Introduced to B&S by my lady-friend. It alwasy strikes me how cool it is that a band can create such a great fanbase and not have all that radio airplay. Our friends are the best promoters. In response to that story about the music store employ that wasn't very well informed.... that's just terrible. Whenever you just want to look around, they always bug you, and when you ask for help, they are either no where to be found, or just plain dumb. ok, that was a run-on sentence... I just hate when the have attitude. Oh, they get to wear that nametag and all and they feel like they have the right to be all badass about it. Sorry......I've had some bad experiences myself. As for backstreet boys, I have to give them the thumbs down. It's just New Kids on The Block -- the next generation. (but if you like them, that's okay! not lookin to get people to hate me after my first post....) Okay, that's all for me. I'm going to sleep now. Hope everybody out there has a good Monday.
