Funny I thought it was more the first time you get paid for playing a gig or selling a self-manufactured 7" or demo tape....the moment your music make syou money of any kind.
Going back to first principles , this is obviously true. I shall now gleefully burn all my records and never again part with my ill-gotten loot to encourage any musician down the road to capitalist capitulation.
