Sinister: [Fwd: king of all the hipsters]
oops, sent to .net first, silly me... Stephen Hewitt wrote:
Gosh I'm tired, I think it's my pre-olympic training regime getting to me, ie staying up quite late in order to ready myself for the festival of sporting excitement that awaits. I could watch *any* sport on telly, me, despite the fact that i'm possibly the least sporty person in the world. I'm sooooo pissed off that i'm here at work instead of watching the opening ceremony :( Opening ceremonies are GRATE, synthesis of community, sport and art, etc etc, although i'm not too bothered about missing John "You're the Voice" Farnham and Olivia "Newton" John.
Oh joy and happiness, I've just found out that i'm going to have no e-mail or internet access at work next week, smelly pooey bums.
I whistle in supermarkets, but not lloyd-webber, generally a nice bit of belle & sebastian, i do find the tunes particularly good for whistling, better than, say, slipknot for example. I whistle quite a lot actually, "and he shall have music where ever he goes", maybe i should just get some batteries for my walkperson. I haven't got as far as bells on either fingers or toes yet.
It's nice to see erica back, although in some strange way, it's almost like she never left.
I saw a pair of shoes in the middle of the street yesterday, quite nice brown shiny leather jobs. I wonder if this is in fact an art installation (cf mark hester and trousers (as in leg coverings, not stevie)) that is touring Oxford.
Someone has also been sticking stickers with (the (actually not very) amazing)spiderman on on all the lampposts, for no discernable reason, there's no writing, not even a website or anything, just a black and white line drawing of spidey, although i noticed that someone had scrawled "who are you???" on one of them...
Oh and can i start the queue for people who want to have chrs lampy's babies :)
