BBC 2's perennial favourite "Call My Bluff", am I right?
Come come now Mr Miller, I think you can do better than that. Indeed I can. After an entire weekend spent scratching my ever-expanding bald patch, it finally dawned on me that the line in question (we have a difference of opinion Jeffrey) did in fact come from a programme hosted by the aforementioned Jimmy Tarbuck. I can't for the life of me remember what it was....it wasn't "Whose Baby", that was Leslie Crowther and Phil Lynott.....it wasn't "Play Your Cards Right", that was Bruce Harris.....but it was something vaguely connected to the world of gambling, ten to one shots and so on. Regular viewers may be amused to hear that I managed to thump myself in the gob today when my shoelace broke as I was doing it up. I knocked myself right over and made my mouth bleed, but somehow managed to retain consciousness. Peter ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . Winner Takes All. Which is currently being shown on Challenge TV, presented by Bobby "Rock With Laughter" Davro. That aside, Challenge TV is one of the best channels on cable IMO. Last summer, I stayed in a flat with cable, and my Sunday nights were invariably spent laughing at the haircuts on 3-2-1 and being thoroughly bamboozled by the "clues". I met Paul Coia once. Rod.
