From my favourite striking airlines, Northwest, I’m trying to wheedle a free stopover in Paris en route to DC from Manila (Philippines) so do any listees know if the date posted to the list (6 October) is tentative or certain? I’m going to try to drag my friend Jean-Michel to the gig but he says B&S is “un peu trop mievre” - a translation of which might be “a bit too twee” or “mawkish.” (Francophones de la liste, s.v.p. aidez-moi avec cette traduction inexacte!) Is there a Parisian branch of our cult (I mean list) organizing a Sinister outing? E-mail me if you’d like to meet up for the show or for a picnic or something.
