hi list, this is my first post so far, as i've just come out of the nursery. i've enjoyed reading everyone else's posts so much that i almost forgot that i too could finally post, but i've had such a good day listening to belle and sebastian while walking along the beach (it's so crowded though, as it's sunday today) that i'm inspired to write something, even if it just be to say how much i've been enjoying this list (and belle and sebastian for that matter). i think you're all very charming and i send you warm greetings from vancouver, b.c. , where i have lived pretty much all of my 22 years. i love it here but i've got that pesky travel bug nipping at me and hope to be off to europe next spring when my school year is over. i've known about b&s for about six months -- they were introduced to me by this guy who would always play tbwtas in the studios at (art) school. i wonder where he heard of them? hmmm... i never thought to ask. anyhow, i was hooked; i totally surrendered. now i own tigermilking and iyfs as well as tbwtas and they rarely leave my cd player. excuse me for stating the obvious! i'm afraid this post is terribly boring and pedestrian -- i promise to do better next time but i wanted to get the basics out of the way. i don't know a soul here who knows about belle and sebastian. it's rather fun in a way -- like knowing a big secret!! by the way, keep up the movie and music suggestions -- very informative indeed! love Lindsay, a very happy little girl, as the sun is shining and there's this new boy i "love"... +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
