Sinister: Big Floppy Donkey Dick
I don't know where that subject appeared from. Just suddenly - WHAM!! - it was there. French singers On the house song on the beta band 3ep album, there is a french guy rapping. Also, on les domestiques album by the delgados, there is a french man talking. I have forgotten the name of the song. One of my friends once met the french guy at a gig. Also, another *good* (extreme sarcasm), and highly amusing french group is Manau. They are supposedly the french east 17. This also features french rapping. Someone I know bought this on holiday, while in france cause it was at no 1. pavement I think that it is on either th 19 or the 21 of november. I'm insure of how much it costs. m&s this is s&m backwards. coincedence? I don't think so I've got an interview for a job in m&s next week. I'll tell them that I can spend my days turning tables round. They won't mind. Only thing is, it's the foodhall bit. I don't consider myself a shelfstacker. b&s and bbc scotland this might just be my imagination, but on an advert on bbc scotland for their internat chat site, to talk to other scothish people, it had soundbites of people saying stuff like "Ah dinnae ken whu'll wun thu leeg this seesawn" and I'm almost certain that you can hear an old woman saying "I'm a fan of belle and sebastian". If anyone else has noticed this, could they confirm it. I think that I'm going out of my mind. who has been voting for me on the list crush? I've never even kissed a girl before, I didn't think that anyone liked me. please mail me privately. Is it a scam? baby chris CRYSTALBALLS __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I can confirm this, as I wrote about the very same thing to the list not that long ago :) Chris, I'm disappointed in you - you say all these things about how I should be top of the list crush and you don't even read my posts... Isobel playing the sitar not a good idea cos it's too big an instrument for her? Unlike that tiny little cello you mean? My secret spies (by which I mean I can't remember who told me this) tell me that all of the band except Richard have written stuff for the new album. I don't really know if I like this idea. Say it's a 12 track album - that's half the songs that aren't by Stuart. Which is not good if you're a big Struan fan like me. Does anyone know which of them's responsible for writing Landslide? I'm sure someone told me Stu had written it for Isobel, see I figured she'd written it as they all sing the ones they write, but I guess it's not the sort of song a boy could sing, even a boy with a voice like Struan's. Does anyone else think Stuart David's songs are taking the piss? See I get the impression he doesn't like Belle and Sebastian's music much, and I reckon he sits there thinking "I'm going to write something nauseatingly uber-twee, and see if they realise I'm taking the piss". And irritatingly, although naff and uber-twee, they're really rather pleasant. BabyChris was also asking about Astrid Williams (or Astrid Williamson,as she's really called). I have no idea if she's any good or not, but it *can* continue the thread about pop relatives, as her cousin is Candida Doyle. I danced to Bon Jovi, Steps and Britney Spears last night. And I enjoyed it. Just to prove I mean what I say about having no pretensions about musical taste at all. You can ask Alasdair, if he stopped being horrified long enough to watch (although he was dancing to some pretty cheesy stuff too). Much more fun than the (cancelled) Arab Strap show that we were meant to be at would have been, I imagine. Indie-schmindie. P!O!P! is where it's at :) Ailsa xx +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
