howdy partners, how y'all doing? blimey, i seem to have stepped into some hard drinkin'/talkin'/shootin' western. best step out again rather quickly. right, that's better. YESSS!!! the mighty yellow boys of oxford united held nottingham forest to a draw last night, to force another cup replay back at the manor. we're on fire.....well, actually we played shit ;) and my throat is raw due to shouting too much and smoking too much to relieve the stress of the shouting and the shit playing..... commiserations with the poor smoker whose parents *still* don't know. mine do, but that is almost worse cos i could never smoke in front of them, and i can't cough in my house without accusatory looks and lectures. me and my mate tom who is worried about his alcohol dependency problem (he's 18 for god's sake! all 18 yr olds drink too much! and 17 yr olds for that matter....) realised on thursday that the only reason we spend so much time in pubs is because it's the only warm dry place we can smoke. how sad is that?! three things will probably happen when i have a place of my own: 1. i'll never leave my flat 2. i'll stop drinking 3. i'll be on 40 a day maybe i shouldn't move out.... on the subject of my mate tom, he is depressed because the only time he ever goes out is to sit in a pub. the same pub. he needs a hobby, can any of you wonderful people help?
