I come back from work, after another dreary Monday, and what do I find in my inbox? Only a picnic, an album and a tour! That's made my day / week / month / year...
There is still no title for the album.
How about "The Family Twee"?
The track-listing is as follows:
<snip> All I can say is, if Tigermilk and I Know Where The Summer Goes aren't even good enough to make it onto the final tracklisting, it's going to be *&!*ing wonderful...
The band will be touring around the world to support this album. The individual dates are still yet to be confirmed, however the pattern is looking like this:
31/08 - 12/09 UK gigs
Hey shame, my summer job finishes on 29/08... Then I've got a month off... Anyone fancy hiring a camper van and following them round the country? And on a more immediate note, is the Blue Soda social happening on Friday night, and if so could any kind person in London offer me a bed / floorspace for Friday night before the picnic the next day? I'm perfectly house-trained... The Happy Git PS Anyone fancy telling us WHICH album track was played on Beat Patrol last night? t'was dirty dream #2, which is my 2nd fave track (simple things makes me cry nearly every single time ... *sigh*) and it's a motown style great for dancing to in a club with fabbo guitar bits and sexy murdoch vocals. very very good for dancing around the office to when nobody is there. oh, and it's got kind of rude lyrics ... and ace strings & a spoken word bit by sarah ... rumoured to be a vid made for it to. seeya's, Katrina. -- ************************************************************************ jeepster recordings ltd. - mailto:a-and-r@jeepster.co.uk 217 canalot, 222 kensal road, london, w10 5bn, uk phone - 0181 964 9432, fax - 0181 964 8600 http://www.jeepster.co.uk ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . What?! You mean I'm actually going to be able to hear "Sleep the Clock Around" without a muted part after the first verse?! That...is good news. Now, before anyone says anything, I already went to the archives, and I did a search and got nothing. So, having not been on the list for several months and not having the time to go through every message since I unsubscribed, can I just ask....Whatever happened to the Modern Rock Song EP that was supposed to come out before the album? And if it IS coming out, will it have "Slow Graffiti" on it? If you want me to cry, say "No". And an unofficial question for Katrina: How different are the album versions of "Sleep the Clock Around" and "Seymour Stein" from the BBC sessions? Ooh, and any chance of getting a BBC sessions album? I know that sounds like a silly question, but...I'd pretty much kill for a version of LLPJ that doesn't cut off just after it starts smoking. ummm, seymour stein has some different lyrics. i've heard so many different versions of sleep the clock around, that they all seem like different songs! well, not really but sort of. the album versions sound more mature, as if they've been given time to develop (file under "additional mixing time in the studio") and the vocals for both tracks ... well, stevie's makes me swoon more than it ever did and bel + stuart m's duet on sleep the clock around is ... umm, i'm not very good at describing things today (it is friday afternoon!), so i 'spose you'll have to make up your own minds when you hear it ... sorry everyone ....

anything is possible! cheers, Katrina. -- ************************************************************************ jeepster recordings ltd. - mailto:a-and-r@jeepster.co.uk 217 canalot, 222 kensal road, london, w10 5bn, uk phone - 0181 964 9432, fax - 0181 964 8600 http://www.jeepster.co.uk ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
