i remember when headings were the revolutionary thing in sinister world. now it seems as though writing posts as if the y ar e p o e t r y is what's hip. i'm not complaining - it makes for easy reading. except when the posters throw in all those tricky metaphors and symbolism things. no belle and sebastian dreams lately, but if dreaming about dead pets counts, then i have a tale to tell. really it just involved a friend of mine crushing a chick (as in a baby chicken, not a girl) with her fingers. then there were a bunch of dogs with tumours on their backs, and it was pretty disturbing. my cat (who is very much alive, thank you) ate a twist tie last week and barfed it up onto my carpet at 5 in the morning. poor thing. youn mentioned
olive the other reindeer
i managed to catch that on tv on friday! it's this new christmas special and michael stipe does the voice of a reindeer named schnitzel. he even sings a song about promising not to throw olive off a roof. it's kind of sad. now, wouldn't it be great if belle and sebastian did an animated christmas special? they could even put a religious spin on the whole thing if they wanted to, what with stuart living in a church basement or whatever. stuart m. would be a tiny tim kind of character, all hopeful and with a limp. stuart d. would be the guy who doesn't believe christmas is going to happen and isobel.. well, she can wear a cute outfit and feed cookies to the orphaned kids. happy holidays and let's hope that esosoft gets a big lump of coal in their stocking this year, teri +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
