Sinister: attn: NYC area sinisterees
if ya ain't from the big apple, move on... for those of you left, I will be heading to nyc from kansas city in early July to see Gene at the Mercury Lounge. i would sincerely appreciate any advice on where to stay (cheap), where to go, what galleries/museums are good, where to eat, and what the names and locations of the best record shops (imports/bootlegs galore) are. i don't know the city very well at all, and your first-hand advice would be wonderful. I hope to hear from some of you... sorry for the self indulgence. you may continue.
