Yes I definitely agree. Personally I am the most narrowminded person you can imagine though .... I only like music with a nice/anthemic/mellow melody ... with not too much beat to it .... glam but not too rocky .... music that is not throwaway hitradio stuff ... .... has great lyrics ... I must like the band or rather the people in the band ...
