now. i am reading the plethora of digests i have received from you guys recently, and i am only on #456. so if i repeat something, please ignore me. two days ago, scott said: Okay, so the scientific name for "thrush" is "Candida albicans"- nasty oral fungal infection yada, yada, yada. Well, the scientific name for the common vaginal yeast infection is also "Candida" something or other. And, I'm no doctor, just a smutoglogist, but I am almost positive that you can get thrust from (here comes the smut) going down on someone who has a yeast infection. Thus and therefore, making railings, well, i think you can use your visual imagination....... and, as a latinist, i would like to say something. i used to be on the pulp list a long long time ago, and we were talking about how really sad that candida's parents named her candida. a yeast infection! well, anyway, in latin, "candida" is a diminutive that means something like "sweet little girl." though, i cant find my dictionary right now, so i am not explicitly correct. for those old romans this was a nickname of sorts. as it turns out, candida is not too bad a name for a person. well, maybe if you were living centuries ago. oh yeah. i am not afraid to say that i have had yeast infections, as most women have these at some point or other. the reason i am saying this is because my boyfriend never got thrush, and maybe you dont get thrush THAT way. enough smut for ya?? a girl obsessed with names, robin. Blood oranges grow well in Florida, but they frighten American women. +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
