I shall keep a weather eye open for the album you mentioned, as I have long harboured a mild curiosity as to what Duane Allman sounds like. If you want to hear Duane either get Derek & The Dominos' Layla, as he plays all the good guitar bits, or better still, as Layla has crap vocals, get 1971's The Allman Brothers: At Fillmore East (1992 CD issue "The Fillmore Concerts" is all-inclusive) where Duane pees over all other slide players fron a cosmic height (sorry Stevie). His constant invention, passion and variety of tone just boggle. Rhythm section kicks ass mightily also. Whilst in this totally BS free ( :) ) mode, the college bookshop is advertising a new biography of Keith Moon, and a picture of Keith's mum recently appeared in a local scurrilous rag for some reason.
