Hello! This week is my last week of school. Well, it's the last week of my summer class. This means that I have been in school for exactly one year straight, taking classes in some capacity. Now, I'm taking a few months off. To get a job. And work. I like school better. I think last night I had a dream about Sean Connery taking me to a movie. I can't wait til the fall because I'm taking some rad classes, one in pop culture theory and one in teen movies. Sometimes I love NYU, but usually they just annoy me, like a horde of flies circling my picnic. Speaking of picnics, thanks to you people who showed up (even if you WERE an hour late and I had to sit there reading Pale Fire and shooing the flies by myself). Especial thanks to Mark for driving from afar. I'm a little nervous that zvoruna was WATCHING the picnic but did not attend. This means there was a sinister person lying in the grass somewhere, peering over, not indicating their sinisterality. Also, it's very sad. You should have come over, we're mostly pretty friendly. Unless you're Canadian. But look, we were even nice to Derek. To his face. Also, where were you?? That blow up bunny was a bust (literally) as he had had his face slashed apparently in some sort of inflatable bunny gang war. We tried to bandage him up, but the life quickly slipped from his small, blue body. Sigh. Sad day, hurt cry. To Andy Flynn: I don't know who you are, but maybe I'll be your friend. Probably. To Eric: Yes, we in New York don't have the orgiastic tendencies that the London folk do, so when we say "picnic" we mean picnic and not "massive lovefest." Also we're much cooler than the people in London. To honey: *lick* Well, you all enjoy your Peel session for me tonight, I have to go to class.
