i find it funny that almost all (if not all) of the contributors to the recently flowing simpsons thread have been male. i'm not trying to be sexist, mind you, i am just reporting an objective fact that i've noticed. i find it amusing, though, because all of my male friends at school have an overt obsession with this show (which, if i've been informed correctly is bases on the town springfield, ohio where m. groenig attended college). my friends will start spitting out these quotes. i'll sit there (it happened at dinner alot) and finally i'll ask "what's that from?" and they'll look at me like i've got an ice cream cone on my head and say, "simpsons, kim" i finally got some of the references by the time we got to the end of the year (thanks to some late night drinking and viewing hours). i like the simpons, i think it's a very smart critique of society. but i'm not obsessed with it, and come to think of it, i don't know any females who are obsessed with it. is it a gender thing? maybe, i don't know any males who have an obsession with leopard print shoes and red lipstick like i do. i'm sitting here bored at work (as usual) but right besidem a newly installed scanner. so, as dr. allen pearl in "waiting for guffman" says "LOOKOUT!" miss marie elia is sending me photos which will be posted soon on the photo pages. hold on to your buxom selves (or mine if you need to). oh and marie, suck it up and let go of your blood! you can't keep it forever :) i hope your mummy gets you your teletubby. i'm losing my attention span, it's dwindling away from my bitty mind. all day, since i haven't been working, i've been reading people magazine, whilst a nice old copy of rabbit, run (which i STILL haven't finished) pleads with me to be opened. perhaps i shall answer it... one quick question before i a go-go: if any object could talk to you what would you want it to be? it would be my car, but it's buried in the backyard with my hermit crabs. i don't know what it would be now. i'm still in mourning. anyway, just let me know (not the list), perhaps if people reply, i can post the results. or perhaps not tootoo, KIMberly xx +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
