Nope, this doesn't work; it should be "...or was it she and I?". The trick here is to reverse the order of the fragments, making it "It was she and I," which is correct.

Sorry to keep this grammar thread going, but I'd say that's still wrong. I think it should be "...or was it her and me?" Because , if you take out the "she" you get "... or was it me?" which makes sense whether or not you reverse the order of the sentence. "... or was it I?" sounds silly. Then again in that "Who Killed Cock Robin" poem thing, you have the line "It was I, said the sparrow". But I reckon that's probably wrong, too. On a more Belle and Sebastian-related note, I was wondering about the rerelease of Tigermilk. When it comes out next year (because I'm convinced it will) there's bound to be a vinyl version available. But does anyone know whether this will be identical to the original release? I'm guessing it'll be at least slightly different (even if the cover picture is the same) because it'll have Jeepster's name on it for one. Which means that the original will still stay pretty expensive, no? Probably not as ludicrously expensive as it has been recently, but it'll still be the one which all of the "collecters" will want to get hold of. It's a shame really, because I think it would be dead funny if the new release looked identical to the original so that all those copies that had sold for 200 quid and more would suddenly be reduced in worth to about a tenner. Anyone who'd bought the record because they were desperate to hear it and were devoted fans would still have their money's worth since they'll have had it a while by now and knowing that it's the original it will have sentimental value, whereas it would be one in the eye for all those who were buying it as some kind of 'investment'. If only, eh... What does anyone else think.
