Sinister: Re: nme review of manchester
I am amused at the frequent references in the nme article to 'twee' 'mumsy-wumsy' and 'warm and happy-clappy cosy'......after all, here is a 'writer' who submits his work to a rag that needs to translate FUCKING into F-ING for him. with that in mind, presumably he was dispatched to the matine so as he could avoid those nasty dangerous manchester streets after dark. why is wells' writing so well regarded anyway? that article reads like the work of some retard sounding-off in my local 'cauliflower-ear' boozer. what a f-pig. -Rod ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . he used to be a respected Socialist Workers Party member and enthusiast, he used to preach that the best way to prepare a society for revolution was to subvert the impressionable youth with the aid of music, which was a pretty bloody obvious statement eh? of course in the years of thatcherism this was rebelliousness at it's height, and as such the NME and it's sheep loved him for it. david "[steven wells] is still a shit though" -- ******************************************************************** Belle and Sebastian Fan Club merchandise, mail-outs, chat, lyrics, poetry, fiction http://www.totalweb.co.uk/bluesoda/ mailto:bluesoda@totalweb.co.uk ******************************************************************** ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
