Sinister: impertinence for the most part
I've just gotten back from fire works, which always bewilder me, yet when it comes right down to it I get bored within minutes. I was flipping through me television guide yesterday and I noticed that there was a listing for an Independence Day Concert. This was in fact channel 6's hour and a half of the Glastonbury festival, which I suspiciously decided to watch. Argh, of all the world's (and especially England's) great musical bands, the American broadcasting business chose to show us America's own crappy offerings, such as the Foo Fighters, Matchbox 20, and Dave Matthews Band. It just pisses me off that most of the American public enjoys such awful music and I have to suffer because of it. _Children of Paradise_ is a fine film. You should all see it. In a few days there's going to be a lawn chair drive in of _Grand Illusion_, which I'm excited about because I've always wanted to go to a drive in movie. I think Arab Strap's playing some time soon at the Khyber in Philadelphia, but it's over 21 and sadly I do not fit into that category. Are they worth it though, just out of curiousity?
