I've been hearing about how B&S are destined to become "HUGE" successes and "Famous" worldwide. the Breaking-Out. I can see how it might happen in the UK or europe, or japan, or what not. but i just can't imagine them appealing so widely to the mainstream US, in our climate of worshipping HUGENESS and Crassness of all kinds (i.e., Titanic, Marilyn Manson, Etc...) If they want to make it really big here in America, they would have to fulfill at least 2 or 3 of the following conditions, i am sure of it: 1. Stop singing about sad librarians and bucktoothed girls; start singing about Ho's and pimps, and how they owe their power to Satan. 2. The Dust Brothers/Trent Reznor produce their next album 3. Stuart does a video in fake breast prostheses, leather bustier and halloween makeup. 4. Isobel poses for Penthouse 5. a band member dates Leonardo dicaprio/Matt Damon 6. a band member offs themselves a la kurt cobain, in tragic drug orgy 7. Change wardrobe from flares and second hand threads, to mesh shirts and adidas track gear, dreadlocks; become the Backstreet Boys, stop playing instruments and dance stupidly in a line instead. 8. Next CD of industrial beats and distortion pedals, contains enhanced CD-ROM game where the band members as superheroes join forces with KORN to defeat the aliens 9. Puff Daddy "samples" Seeing Other People, turning it into a frat-party sex anthem 10.
