Um... interesting topic. I personally think that the catalan use for "goodbye" is more beautiful: "adeu" (it has the same metaphorical content on it). "Me encantan tus ojos" is more used to say "I like your eyes very much", with an obvious poetic content. Almost nobody says "Tus ojos me encantan" with an "enchanting" meaning, and only a few people says "me gustan mucho tus ojos". I do like the Violent Femmes. I bought "Add it up" for christmas and itŽs rather good, as long as I understand that maybe itŽs not a good one for someone like me, who doesnŽt know them really much. A question for a radio show here: does the Manics song "SYMM" refers to this accident on a football stadium where 90 people died ?
