Hello, kiddies. Posting from home instead of doing it from uni. Good. Cause I have a pc-dictionary to check. Dictionaries are useful. Dictionaries are cool. I want to ask Stuart to write a song about dictionaries, I just donŽt know how. Well, I can always ask Mr.Stephin Merritt instead. I just donŽt understand all the madness about "69 love songs". IŽve been listening to it since last summer, and itŽs a combination of 5-10 great songs + 20/25 good ones and the rest are just jokes. And a bit elitist indeed. I just want to ask: if Stuart wrote a song about Ferdinand de Sausurre, wouldnŽt we have all those "critics" quoting Stuart as an elitist and blah, blah.......The DukeŽs article just reflects this state of opinion of "oh, B&S are too popular for me now". I saw some vinyls of Funkadelic yesterday on a local record shop. Can anyone point me the names of some of their best albums ??? IŽm becoming black, me and also Rosseta, my dear cat. IŽm not painting her, donŽt worry ;) I didnŽt buy any record of mr.Clinton band, but I got a 3 vinyl "the best of Smokey Robinson" for....errr.....a bit more than 7 Uk pounds. With "As seen on TV" printed on it. ItŽs cool indeed. IŽll say bye while listening to those grate literates that are Godspeed you black emperor!
