*---* HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINISTER BABIES *---* hello all.... if i may i would like to display a poem that i like for the list to read.... this one is called "meeting at night" by robert browning...a wonderful wonderful poet The grey sea and the long black land; And the yellow half-moon large and low; And they startled little waves that leap In fiery ringlets from their sleep, As i gain the cove with pushing prow, And quench its speed i' the slushy sand. Then a mile of warm sea-scented beach; Three fields to cross till a farm appears; A tap at the pane, the quick sharp scratch And blue spurt of a lighted match, And a voice less loud, through its joys and fears, Than the two hearts beating each to each! i hope you like it...i wanted to put my ab fav poem, "the lady of shalott" or something fabulous from rupert brooke on here but they were all too long....anyhow... lots of love and kisses, shawnie "they danced by the light of the moon, the moon, the moon, they danced by the light of the moon." +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
