Sinister: Tigermilk/Demo Tracks
Hey all, Just a quick mail to say *oh my god* and *wahey* and lots of other very excited things in response to listening to Tigermilk for the first time. Can't really pick out any highlights as yet, but I'm sure I will do soon. Also hearing 'Modern Rock Song' for the first time (on the Radcliffe session)-what a whopper, eh? I just have one question, mainly directed at Andy Dean (who sent me the tape), but any one can answer the question who knows what I'm talking about-what are the names of the three demo tracks that are also on the tape. The first one is "Pocketbook Angel"-right?, but I can't recognise the titles of any of the others from any references on the list. If any one knows the answer, I'd be much obliged. Oh, and bobbins to that Warwick guy, Much hugs, GIDEONxxx "One tap for yes, two taps for no!..." ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . That's the reaction I had when I first heard it. It's deserves to be a colossal hit. Any words on "B-sides" yet? Virgin in Edinburgh have it down for a 23 March release, BTW. I know that that is in no way official, cause D+K haven't said owt yet, but I thought I would spark some idle speculation!

Well, seeing as the band have just booked more mixing dates that take them into early April, it doesn't look as though there will be any B&S releases until at least July, if not later. It may not even be an EP followed by the LP ... we just don't know! There should be news probably towards the end of March/early April once they've finished in the Studio, but until then we know nothing! Reid Dossinger wrote:
Does anyone know why the News and Events part of the B&S homepage hasn't been updated since the end of November? Would someone else with a website and a close connection to the band consider putting a news section on there? And any little bit of news would be appreciated. I haven't really heard anything about the progress on the new album, what would be on it, etc.
Well, that's up to Stuart David to sort out ... we try to keep you updated on the fanclub site (http://www.totalweb.co.uk/bluesoda) and maybe once we get the jeepster site up and running properly, there may be a news page ... maybe i can get the band to write a weekly update to the list or something ... i don't know, any ideas and suggestions much appreciated! Cheers, Katrina. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . This message was brought to you by the Sinister mailing list. .
