I do respect Honey's reminder to keep the list conversations about B&S instead of just BS...so I will keep the B&S chatter at the top of my e-mails. Any suggestions? Where The Summer Goes? Looper will be playing some dates with Subpoop (whoops, I mean, Subpop) band mates The Evil Tambourines. I've been listening to my promo copy of their CD Library Nation that will be out in July. Loops and samples, fun hip-hop (think 80's style yeah all right!). Al Larsen (of Some Velvet Sidewalk) "raps" on a few tracks, and Lois Maffeo (of The Lois and Courtney Love) sings. I initiated a record shop owner in Olympia to the lovely sounds of B&S today. I was looking at records and someone (shame shame!) and sold their copy of TIJAMRS. John had never listened to them, but put on the record and made kind comparisons to the Velvet Underground before flipping it over to the second side. He was still listening to it as I left the store.

Yes! As a gal with chronic ear problems I have to say this is my favorite office routine. Other options include burning ear drops and sharp instruments poking in delicate areas. Its not quite a fetish, but when they tell me they're going to flush out my ear it makes me relax a lot more than when they simply wield pointy metal things in the direction of my ear drum.

about the sinister photo page: hmph. not only does sultry courtney have boobs, she also has a strawberry tattoo in a provocative place. i'm afraid i can't compete with that.
