Hey ho, back at work after a fantastic weekend of being as camp as pontins. A few small personal highlights: Final whistle of the football Seeing Struan running around with just his shorts on (he is completely *buff* not a spare bit of flab on him and quite a bit of muscle) Ally, Kevan, Calumn, Joe and Erica (were we the only "fully sinister" chalet?) Watching Calumn talk to the entire site Aidan Moffatt from Arab Strap playing his keyboard with his head during girls of summer Having Martin Carr come to the party in our chalet Walking along London Bridge Station on the way home and saying hi to Struan walking in the other direction like he'd just kind of materialised on the platform in time to catch us. Missing Sonic Youth :) footy, slight return Shouldn't the johnny come lately glory seeker who only joined for the last ten minutes have been cup tied, having played for Snow Patrol in an earlier round? A tour de force of total shexy football, demonstrated by Jim's goalkeeping, Ally's silky skills, Sean's fully comitted tackling and Vince's falling over, (and a dashed cunning use of rolling substitutes) not to mention near-rabid support from the sidelines. Surely we now go forward to the european festival five a side competition, at pink pop (probably). Also no mention has been made so far of the Stan Collymore of the side, mercurial, great player last season, transferred for a substantial amount, then ASLEEP THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE OF SUNDAY'S MATCHES, yes, step forward Martin Robinson, who arrived at the pitch just in time for the victory celebrations :) Ooh if the pic-er-nic's on the 20th we can go to 2000 troubled teenagers afterwards and scare nervous stephen with our drunken behaviour.
