Sinister: Losing All Your CDs(No B&S content)
Recently my mom threatened to sell all of my CDs unless I cleaned them up! The CDs were cluttering up the family which contains our big stereo system with big speakers. After the threat, I quickly proceeded to clean them up in fear of losing my favorite CDs especially IFYS. So I was wondering how everyone else would feel if someone threw away or sold all your CDs? Because I was utterly frightened!!! Andy B-) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . This message was brought to you by the Sinister mailing list. . What a cow! My mum regularly complains that my records (the old fashioned vinyl ones) are cluttering up the cupboard. I don't know what she's moaning about, there's plenty of space in the cupboard.Once she was doing something or other with them and found "Groovy Hate Fuck" by Pussy Galore and said "Oooh, swearing!" and put it back again sharpish. My dad used to tell me that I didn't want to go buying so many records because I'd get sick of them and never play them again. And do you know? He was right. He is also of the opinion that one should "wait for the greatest hits to come out."
So I was wondering how everyone else would feel if someone threw away or sold all your CDs?
I would ask them to explain their bizarre behaviour and rummage about in their pockets looking for the cash (if they had sold them, if they had thrown them away I would ask where. And become violent).
Because I was utterly frightened!!!
I'm not surprised. Here's hoping this turns into a long thread of mum and dad anecdotes. Get them involved in the professional / shambolic racket debate. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . he says that its way too much to be able to actually listen to and maybe it is.. Fuck that. Move out. Fill your small apt. with more music than you could
Amature. possibly enjoy in two lifetimes. THAT'S life!
i'm one of those people that if i see a cd that has one song i like for 99 cents i will buy it. Spend all your money on all the CDs you want. You don't need alcohol and cigarettes. There's nothing to enjoy a second time there anyway. You NEED music. Otherwise you wouldn't be here.
my sister says that i am anal because i have everything in alpabetical order How the hell else are you gonna find it?
Sometimes it's your family that is the only thing standing in your way between true happiness and the depths of hell. And the next time they tell you you can't go half-way 'cross the country to see a concert, go anyway. By the time you get home, they'll be happy that you're simply alive at all.;) Seriously ;) Aadam (taking the piss) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
