Sinister: re; ouch and a question
hi there, just to clarify myself. Like I said in the mail before I sent that story, I have a few rough drafts of stories, not actual, finished things that can go in a library. So i figured I'd send them to the list and get peoples responses and see how I'm doing. I did this on the list last year and it went down really well, and I got a lot of positive response, which really helped me with my writing. That was the whole point. So now I'm in a quandry, as I'd hate to be the cause of list bickering, and I wonder if I should stop posting fables. What say the sinister people? jules _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org. Please keep sending your things in if you want to, I'm sure lots of people enjoy them, myself included. My point was that a few people lately have been sending Stories (as opposed to stories) to the list, thus getting a quick fix of attention and brief flurry of responses whilst denying themselves the satisfaction of seeing it published on a well put together fiction site, which has also gone a bit quiet lately, so my intention was twofold - to boost the Midnight Lending Library and point writers in the (possibly) right direction - for them, not me or anybody else. I think the stories will get a lot more readers in the MLL in the long run, and a lot more useful feedback. Check it out! http://www.missprint.org/sinister/library/ Rule number one is especially important.
