They've gone RAAAAWWWK, and it was a bit scary (in a kind of late 80s/rachel stamp/cult kind of way). However, I didn't follow my plan to throw big heavy things at them. Following that we went to a local acoustic nite and *i sang* for the first time in AAAGGGES and it was GRATE (to sing anyway, I'm not necessarily saying my performance was). Apparently there's going to be "lo-fi karaoke" at Camber this weekend, just try to keep me off it. Humourous Moment #1: One of my minions was talking to someone on the phone yesterday and took their name and they were called Isobel Murdoch which made me chortle and made my minions look at me strangely Humourous Moment #2 I was staying at a friend's house on Saturday and one of their flatmates a) likes B&S and b) is in a band and c) had left some (bad sixth form poetry) lyrics lying around. I casually glanced at them and realised that one could quite easily fit the words to the tune of Fox in the Snow, but it was "girl on the train , i'll never see you again, why didn't i ask your name etc". This also made me chortle (after i'd finished cringing) and as i had no one to share it with at the time i thought i'd share now :) Humourous Moment #3 Oh, come on, it's only three weeks since i wrote last.
