Hi All 1) Thanks to Honey for the unblocking of the digestive tracts a few days ago, and thanks to all you BNCWS (biscuit nibbling cardigan wearing saddoes) for ensuring that what gushed forth in the *eight* digests that I read in one day was a deluge of ...... quality musings re. gigs and the long awaited album. 2) Nice to see that our nice Uncle Paul not only gets a credit on the back of the CD but is in fact the subject of the title track (rather than Aidan Moffat as had been previously supposed)- "you stagger about making free with your lewd and lascivious posts" 3) I have been disappointed that (as far as I can remember) no-one has yet pointed out that Sarah is holding a F!O!X in the picture in the booklet. 4) Nor has anyone drawn attention to the fact that Stuart sang "She's a B!U!S driver and she's got style" at the end of TBWTAS on Monday night in the cool of the Shepherds Bush Empire. 5) Well done Katrina for explaining the delay to the start of the set on that night. B & S now forgiven, and I understand why Wee Chris is called that, and why he popped out to crowd right towards the end of Elliot Smith's set: it was not only to bump into my daughter and say sorry but also to check that he had time for another dump. 6) ALways end with a question - who is the guy relaxing in the deckchair by the river?
