hello fellow sinisters!! my name is matthew, and this is my first time posting on sinister. i've been out of the nursery for months, but never quite felt the need to post. until now, of course. i was released from the nursery soon after the arrival of FISHYCLAP, and with all the negative talk surrounding what was instantly one of my favorite B&S records, i was put-off. i felt that i didn't want to have anything to do with this list. of course, like the good little soldier i am, i stayed on, reading hundreds and hundreds of posts from the many of you who felt the need to share with the group. there's only so many posts w/o b&s content that i can read w/o wanting to put a little sininister-ness, back into the sinister list. for me, it was discouraging as a fan of this band, to read so many posts degrading the work of the band we're all here to discuss, and enjoy together. let the media tear them up, not us. so anywho: yes, i love belle and sebastian. yes, i LOVE,LOVE, LOVE FISHYCLAP and yes, i would love to read more content related to B&S. i could go on for hours and hours, about the many musical and lyrical merits of FISHYCLAP. i could also chew yer ear off, with legends, myths, and speculations on the band and their releases, but seeing this is my first post, i won't...i'll just end this saying, thank you to those out there, who's posts are pleasent to read... goodnight, matthew timothy m. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
